Diving in

Hello
I am writing to myself and to my mentor
This feel timely and challenging
Balancing priorities and time is a challenge

And trusting that the emerging skills will enable me to work more efficiently

I have been very curious to develop skills
This is a great opportunity
I have taken a little while to connect and this in itself highlights the overriding challenge of managing 20 tasks in the time for 10
How do I spend half the current time on each of the 20 tasks
Working efficiently
Being succinct

  1. Well done for taking the first step! Something that might motivate you to find time for your reflection : "We prioritise what we value."
Good luck with your next steps - sounds like you are very busy and will need to find a way to create space for the learning and course.

    1. Thanks Kerron.
It is good to set the challenge to manage time well and create space.
We have just completed major steps - priority review - intervention plan - AIP and strategic plan - all good foundations bit challenges in themselves.
Getting the infrastructure in place for IT is also progressing well.
So there is space opening up.
A key element is my working with my new AP - Tony - who is also enrolled and the development of our new leadership team -
      Also include one LT.
Increasing staff confidence and acceptance of devices is an interesting challenge. And our SIT team has just completed a good process with staff choosing the development of student LPs

  2. As a small school there is great scope for us to have students managing their own learning and plans.
We have developed a great template but struggled to move it from a word form.
We have students piloting their development of a preferred platform and form for the plans.
Thanks for your feedback and will forward our developing work on the ARP
    Regards
    Andrew
